The 50-inch span covers our whole island perfectly, and the black trestle frame looks way more expensive than it was. Eight bulbs give off plenty of light without feeling harsh over the countertop.
Hung this over our kitchen island and it completely changed the room. The black trestle frame is bold without feeling heavy, and the eight lights give off plenty of brightness for evening dinners. Installation took a bit of patience, but the finished look was worth it.
The 50-inch span is the perfect anchor above my island, and the black finish looks even richer in person than it did on screen. Installation took two of us about an hour, and the trestle design really does feel like a piece of sculpture rather than just another light fixture.
