The swing arm is the star here—I can pivot it over my reading chair or angle it toward the sofa without moving the base an inch, and at 58 inches it towers just right over the headrest. Assembly took maybe ten minutes with a screwdriver I already had. It’s sturdy enough that my cat hasn’t knocked it
