I mounted two of these on either side of my garage and the 13 1/4 inch height is just right — noticeable without being bulky. The iron scroll detail gives them a nice traditional look, and they've held up through a few rainstorms without any rust so far.
The iron scrollwork looks genuinely hand-forged, not stamped, and the 13 1/4 inch height gives our porch just enough presence without feeling bulky. Finish has held up through two rainstorms already.
Hung these beside my front door and the 13 1/4 inch height feels substantial without being bulky. The iron scroll design throws a really pretty pattern on the siding at night. Solid weight too, no rattling in the wind.
