The height adjustment is genuinely smooth and locks solidly in place, so it’s easy to aim the light exactly where I’m reading. The bronze finish has a nice depth to it and matches my desk setup better than I expected. It’s become my go-to lamp for evening work sessions.
The French Bronze finish looks way richer in person than in the photos, and it’s heavy enough that it doesn’t wobble when I angle the head over my book. Set it to the lowest height for my desk and it throws just the right pool of light without glare.
The adjustable height is the star here—I can raise it high for overhead light while I’m at my desk or lower it right over my book, and it stays put with zero wobble. The French Bronze finish has a nice matte look that doesn’t show fingerprints.
